Spiritual Zionism is the belief that Israel and the Jewish people are still the primary covenant intent of God, meaning that Christianity and the church (body of Christ) are a parenthetic in which Gentiles are included in the covenant redemption intended primarily for the Jewish people and the nation of Israel.
Zionism is also the source doctrine of “Dispensationalism,” which is the belief that God has provided salvation for mankind through various covenants, not just the New Covenant.
Zionism is, then, a denial that Israel was redeemed at the first advent of Jesus Christ, and that it is the second coming of Jesus Christ through which all Israel, meaning national, ethnic Israel will be redeemed.
But that is not what multiple witnesses of Israel believed as was recorded in the New Testament.
